The Akshaya Patra Foundation (TAPF) is headquartered in Bengaluru, India and is a not-for-profit organization. Our organization endeavors to battle issues such as hunger and malnutrition in India, by implementing the Mid-Day Meal Scheme in the Government schools as well as government-aided schools. Akshaya Patra points to battle hunger and to bring children to school. Since 2000, the organization has worked towards achieving more children with nutritious food on each and every school day.
Hare Krishna Movement (HKM) in partner with The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has taken an activity to begin Rs5/ – meal program to help poor and needy.
The project “Bhojanamrita” started by HKM Charitable Foundation, Hyderabad to nourish underprivileged. Propelled by the teachings of HDG Srila Prabhupada, The Founder Acharya of Hare Krishna Movement, HKM-Hyderabad started the Bhojanamrita program that supplies free food to everyone of the workers and attendants in nearly 14 hospitals around Hyderabad.
HKM-Hyderabad has begun the Saddimuta Program that is intended to serve Rs5/- meal for Hamalis and farmers in the state of Telangana’s different market yards.
